This is another version I did for Fantômas based on the 1964 french movie by the same name portrayed by Jean Marais. Where Fantômas used some sort of rubber mask, that made him look like an alien in my opinion. 

My Alphabooks entry for this week is: F is for Fantômas Fantômas is a fictional character created by French writers Marcel Allain and Pierre Souvestre. From Wikipedia: One of the most popular characters in the history of French crime fiction, Fantômas was created in 1911 and appeared in a total of 32 volumes written by the two collaborators, then a subsequent 11 volumes written by Allain alone after Souvestre’s death. The character was also the basis of various film, television, and comic book adaptations. In the history of crime fiction, he represents a transition from Gothic novel villains of the 19th century to modern-day serial killers. I drew this one after a book cover, I saw from one of the Fantômas novels “Messenger of Evil”, a cover which I really really liked and I don’t know who is the artist.
